Digitales Geländemodell Bodensee (DGM-Bodensee)
Die Kombination von Fächerecholot und Laserscanning zur Neuvermessung des Bodensees führte zu einem einzigartigen Datensatz. Begleitet von einer externen Qualitätskontrolle und den Vermessungsverwaltungen der umliegenden Länder ermöglichen die enorme Dichte und hohe Qualität der Daten hochaufgelöste Geländemodelle für den gesamten See und seine Ufer. Behörden und Wasserwirtschaft erhalten damit ein wichtiges Hilfsmittel zur Beurteilung und Planung vieler wasserbaulicher Massnahmen wie Einleitungen, Wasserentnahmen, Renaturierungen oder notwendiger Baggerungen. Nicht zuletzt werden Natur- und Denkmalschutz in erheblichem Masse von der Neuvermessung profitieren.
Zusätzlich zu den öffentlichen Daten mit einer horizontalen Auflösung von zwei Metern gibt es einen nicht öffentlichen Datensatz mit horizontaler Auflösung von einem Meter.
