Gestion de la Faune du Canton de Fribourg
Le SFF dispose d’un service territorial pour la gestion de la faune, composé de 16 gardes-faune. Dans leurs tâches de suivi scientifique, surveillance et police dans le domaine de la pêche et de la chasse, les gardes-faune utilisent des documents et outils cartographiques. Pour aider à la gestion de ces données une application a été créée: "FaunaMap". L’application est basée sur le produit ArcGIS for Server. Il s’agit d’une application web, ne nécessitant pas d’installation logicielle locale. Elle permet la consultation et l’édition des données. Cette métadonnée concerne les données éditables de FaunaMap ainsi que les tables de valeurs.
